Because the client was built on older .NET frameworks and Windows APIs, it was never officially certified for Windows 10. This leads to several problems for users on systems:
vCenter Server 6.0 includes a Flash web client (deprecated but works). Requires Adobe Flash Player – no longer recommended for security reasons.
The vSphere Client 6.0 installer requires .NET 3.5, which is not enabled by default in Windows 10. vmware vsphere client 6.0 download windows 10 64 bit
vSphere Client 6.0 is not the same as the newer vSphere Host Client (accessed via a web browser on port 443). The thick client is a separate .exe installer.
Turn off VMware’s “MKS” logging:
The for Windows 10 (64-bit) is a legacy "fat client" used to manage ESXi hosts and vCenter Server. It reached End of General Support on March 12, 2020. While it is primarily a 32-bit application, it is fully compatible with and runs on Windows 10 64-bit systems. Official Download Sources
