Take the three long poles from the bag. These are shock-corded (elastic inside), so let them snap together segment by segment. Do not let go of a half-assembled pole—the shock cord can whip and hit you or a bystander.
Assemble the steel upright poles by snapping the sections together. Ensure the connections are tight; a loose connection can cause the poles to fail under tension. If your model uses roof poles (bent poles that go over the top), assemble those as well.
