The film follows Yasmine, a journalism student, and her two friends as they investigate a cold case involving a woman named Mongia, who was found mutilated 20 years ago and is now held in an asylum on suspicion of witchcraft. Their investigation leads them to a secluded, eerie village (a "dachra") where they encounter a community governed by disturbing rituals and led by a suspiciously friendly man named Saber.
