If you can’t find your original key, you don’t necessarily have to throw away the hardware. Most Pinnacle tuners are compatible with third-party, often better, software that doesn't require the original Pinnacle serial:
A key for TVCenter Pro 4.0 may not work for 5.4.
: Some vendors offer the option to retrieve the serial number from the user's account on their official website. Users can log in with their purchase credentials to find the serial number.
: Some versions of the TVCenter installer allow you to run the application in a limited trial mode if a valid serial number is not available during installation.
