Stb Erom Upgrade

As of 2025, newer chipsets (e.g., Amlogic S905X5, Realtek RTD1619) are moving toward encrypted, signed EROMs. This means the era of the public is ending. Manufacturers are locking down the Mask ROM mode with Root of Trust (RoT) keys. If you have an older box (2016–2020), perform any upgrades now, as future devices will make this process impossible without manufacturer signing keys.
