Arctic Monkeys - Humbug -2009- -flac- – Validated
While Homme oversaw the sessions in the Mojave Desert, long-time collaborator James Ford produced the New York City sessions, helping to finish tracks like "Cornerstone".
What they got instead was a band channeling heavy metal, desert rock, and 1960s psychedelia. The opening track, "My Propeller," sets the stage immediately. It isn't an assault; it’s a seduction. The track builds slowly, driven by Matt Helders’ tribal drumming. The sonic palette is darker, murkier, and significantly heavier. Arctic Monkeys - Humbug -2009- -FLAC-
