Mirai utilizes a clever strategy involving his wings to block Metropoliman’s vision, a tactic that works because wings, while visible to God candidates, do not interact with the physical world like solid objects. This allows Mirai to finally outplay the villain who has consistently held the upper hand through wealth and manipulation.

One of the most poignant moments of the episode is the death of Nanato Mukaido. Having suffered from terminal cancer, Mukaido dies in a powerful scene where he is able to see his pregnant wife one last time before passing away. Nasse’s Transformation:

Nanato Mukaido, despite being in critical condition, finds the strength to execute Kanade using a barrage of bullets. Due to the divine wings' effect on perception, Kanade experiences his death in agonizing slow motion, feeling every bullet pierce his body.

While Mirai’s angel, Nasse, is sweet, supportive, and largely useless in a fight, Kanade’s angel, Revel (voiced with a creepy calm that rivals Death Note ’s Ryuk), steps into the spotlight. Revel does not argue for justice or morality. He argues for efficiency .
