Following Miles Morales as he reunites with Gwen Stacy and encounters a society of Spider-People across the multiverse, the film pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling. Every frame is a painting, utilizing distinct art styles for different universes (from watercolor to comic-book halftones). It ended on a cliffhanger that left audiences desperate for the sequel.
