Note: In Lesson 23, ~ています is used for habitual actions or professions/status.
The listening section tests your ability to hear the new volitional forms. For example, question 1 often includes a dialogue like: “A: Tabetai kedo, kaimono ni iku no wa mendokusai na.” (I want to eat, but going shopping is a hassle.) B: Watashi ga kaimono ni itte agemasu ka?” (Shall I go shopping for you?) – The answer is the offer of help.
