Users were presented with a bird's-eye view of the entire webpage. A virtual mouse cursor allowed users to navigate freely, hovering over links and zooming into specific sections of interest. When a user clicked, the browser would snap into a column view, allowing for easy reading.

While Opera Mini has evolved to version 8 or higher (and is now based on Chromium for smartphones), the classic Java version is abandoned. However, retro-tech enthusiasts still look for the to run on emulators or old phones.

Halfway through Chapter 4, the screen froze. The little Opera logo stopped spinning.
