Arthur hesitated, guarding his isolation. But looking at the stack of notebooks tucked under her arm, he relented and waved her in.

“I’m what she was trying to paint when she died,” the woman said. “The last doorway. The final landscape. She called me The Loft —not the room, but the thing the room was for. A place where what’s imagined and what’s real can trade places.”

As cities tighten zoning laws and the inventory of old factories dwindles, the true hard loft is becoming a rare, luxury commodity. Meanwhile, the "Live/Work" space is evolving. Post-pandemic, the need for a home office has exploded, and —originally designed as a place to both live and produce art—is more relevant than ever. Arthur hesitated, guarding his isolation

As urbanization and the gig economy continue to shape the way we live and work, The Loft is poised to play an increasingly important role in modern society. Expect to see:

Maya set up at a small wooden table near the far window. For the next two hours, the loft was filled with a new kind of rhythm: the soft scratching of a pen on paper blending with the distant hum of the street below. Shop the Sale: Homeowners or renters interested in

Starving painters and sculptors saw value where developers saw blight. These industrial shells offered three things no apartment could: space, light, and silence. The high ceilings allowed for massive canvases. The north-facing skylights provided consistent, shadow-free illumination. And the thick masonry walls blocked out the noise of the city.

Regarding the patch in the DeployWiz_SelectTS.vbs script, for MDT build 8443 you will have to add an extra line; in “Function ValidateTSList”, after the line that says “Dim oTS” add the following:

    Dim sCmd
    Dim oItem
    Set oShell = createObject(“Wscript.shell”)

The two lines at the bottom are as in MDT 2013 Update 2.

Kudos on this workaround goes to Ward Vissers in “MDT Build 8443 Automatically move computers to the right OU” (http://www.wardvissers.nl/2016/12/29/mdt-build-8443-automatically-move-computers-to-the-right-ou/).

Thanks a lot for your article!

Has anyone tried this same fix in MDT Build 8456? I’m working on updating my MDT to the latest install and I’m having issues getting the TS Selection to work like it did previously with this fix in place.
