If you have 20 minutes for 30 questions, you have 40 seconds per question. If you are stuck at 25 seconds, make an educated guess and proceed.
Read extensively in the language of the test (e.g., Spanish, Italian, English). Build vocabulary flashcards. For analogies, create a sentence that describes the relationship between the first two words, then apply that same sentence to the third word to find the fourth.
Do not use a calculator unless explicitly allowed. Practice mental math daily. Learn to memorize intermediate results. For number series, always check the difference between terms first; if that fails, check ratios or alternating patterns.
These tests are usually timed. Do not get stuck on one difficult question; move on and return to it if possible. Read Instructions Carefully:
