Many of the most famous mods from the 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 eras rely on this API to function. Without it, these mods simply cannot override Minecraft's default player logic:

If any of those mods required custom rendering on versions 1.7.10, 1.8, or 1.8.9, they almost certainly needed Player API as a dependency. Many of the most famous mods from the 1
