, it's important to know that while the add-on itself is a paid product, there are several "free" ways to expand your experience if you already own the base route.
The route offers a dramatic geographical transition. Starting in Konstanz, you experience flat, lakeside running with panoramic views of Switzerland just across the water. As you head northwest, the tracks begin to climb toward the Swabian Jura. By the time you reach Donaueschingen (famous for the source of the Danube River), you are firmly inside the rolling hills and dense pine forests of the Black Forest. This duality makes the route visually stunning and operationally challenging.
