The story begins with a marital rift between Raghu (Raghuvaran) and Shanthi (Shanthi Krishna) after Raghu confesses to an affair. The fallout creates intense friction between their respective brothers, Vijay and Suriya, who initially loathe each other. Amidst their personal rivalry, they both find romance—Vijay with Akhila (Kausalya) and Suriya with Asha (Simran)—while eventually having to unite to save Raghu’s daughter from a criminal kidnapping.
