Use painter’s tape on the wall to outline the hood’s dimensions. Stand back. Does it look balanced? Move it now before drilling. Remember: Breaker off
Secure the hood-mounting bracket to the wall, ideally into wall studs. Leave a small gap (approx. 1/8") between the screw head and the wall to hang the hood. Stand back
Recommended distance of 28" to 31" between the stovetop and the bottom of the hood.
