For the uninitiated, Nexus 2 is a hybrid synthesizer sampler (often called a rompler) developed by reFX. Unlike Serum or Massive, Nexus doesn’t allow you to build sounds from oscillators. Instead, it relies on massive, studio-recorded multisamples. The "XP" stands for Expansion, and was the fourth official expansion released for Nexus 2.
