ASME PDS-1.1-2013 is a product design specification (PDS) developed by ASME. It was created to address a specific gap in the industry: the need for a pump standard that offers higher quality and reliability than generic ANSI/ASME B73 standards, but without the heavy cost burden and stringent requirements of API 610 for every single application.
