To download the software for your TL866CS MiniPro programmer, you must use the legacy
The TL866CS uses the software, which is distinct from the "XGpro" software used by newer models .
Do not download "Xgecu ProMan" or "TL866II Plus software" for your CS model. Installing the wrong software will cause a "device not connected" error or, worse, overwrite the CS firmware, turning it into a brick.

For those wary of proprietary software or frustrated by end-of-life issues, the open-source community offers (a command-line tool by David Griffith). Available on GitHub and Linux repositories ( minipro ), this tool supports the TL866CS, TL866A, and TL866II Plus. It does not require the official MiniPro GUI and works on Windows (via Cygwin), macOS, and Linux. This is often the safest and most future-proof "software download" for the TL866CS, as it is maintained independently of the manufacturer’s product cycle.
The TL866CS and TL866A are hardware-identical except for a software lock. You can use a tool called cs2a.exe (available on GitHub) to convert your CS to an A model, unlocking more voltage options. However, this does not let you use the newer software.
After downloading MiniPro V6.85, you must install USB drivers. The TL866CS uses a proprietary driver, not a standard CDC or HID driver.
Let’s settle this once and for all.
Open your application on your mobile phone and shake it. After that screen will appear where you can highlight the area of the bug.
After highlighting the area, a screen will appear where the user can write a bug description which explains the details about bugs or issues.
Once you report the bug, you will get the following screen with bug’s details along with device and OS information to your assigned developers. They can update its status when it is resolved.
