Lossless Cut Manual
(often referred to as lossless-cut ) is an open-source, cross-platform utility designed for fast, lossless trimming and cutting of video and audio files. Unlike traditional video editors, it does not re-encode the media; instead, it copies data directly from the source, resulting in near-instant operations and zero quality loss.
Because it does not re-encode, you cannot cut at any frame. You can only cut at Key frames (usually every 1 to 10 seconds). If you need frame-accurate cuts, you must use a traditional editor like DaVinci Resolve.
