Music and fashion are integral parts of the lifestyle and entertainment landscape for young 18-year-olds. Music genres like hip-hop, pop, and electronic dance music (EDM) are particularly popular, with many young adults attending concerts, festivals, and music events. These events are not just about the music; they're also social gatherings where young people come together to enjoy good company, express themselves through fashion, and experience live performances. Growing up in a digital era, 18-year-olds are naturally inclined towards technology and social media. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat are an integral part of their daily routine, allowing them to stay connected with friends, share their experiences, and stay updated on current events. These young adults are avid consumers of online content, devouring videos, podcasts, and blogs on various topics, from music and fashion to gaming and social issues.

The viral nature of content on these platforms means that young adults are constantly exposed to new ideas, challenges, and trends. This can have both positive and negative impacts, from promoting body positivity and mental health awareness to sometimes encouraging unrealistic comparisons and risky behaviors.

Many of these "informative write-ups" or videos focus on embarrassing teenage mishaps, such as being caught watching a children's movie as an adult or trying on unusual clothing.

  1. My friend was trying to add herself to my Fitbit.
Guess what she added all her friends!!!
Owen to. And blocked EACH one of her friends.
I don’t want to block her friends I want them off my phone!!!

    • Hi Peggy,

It sounds like she added herself and friends to your phone’s Contacts app instead of the Fitbit app.

Once contacts get added to the phone’s contacts app, rather than block them, I suggest you open the Contacts app and delete them. It will be tedious since you need to do this one by one.

Now, to add friends via the Fitbit app. Open the app and tap the Community tab at the bottom. Then tap the upper tab for Friends and choose Add Friends. Instead of Connect Contacts, at the top choose either email or username (if you know it.) Then enter the email or username of your friend and send them an invite (they must accept the invite to make the connection.)
