When you connect the ASUS VT229H to your computer, Windows attempts to identify the device. It sees a display (via HDMI/DisplayPort) and a Human Interface Device (HID) via the USB connection. If the device manager shows "USB Input Device" or "HID-compliant touch screen" with a generic driver, you are missing the specific ASUS firmware profile.
