The most immediate question for existing users is: What changed? Here are the critical differentiators.

The screen of the ancient Panasonic Toughbook flickered, casting a pale, cold glow across Julien’s grease-stained face. If a vehicle is approaching a mileage threshold for a timing belt change or a tire rotation, the system triggers an alert. The dealer is notified, and the customer receives a proactive invitation to book an appointment. Historically, the repair process was fragmented. Mechanics worked on cars, service advisors manually typed estimates, and customers sat in waiting rooms wondering about the status of their vehicle. New Dialogys dismantles this opacity. It integrates the technical data of the vehicle with the commercial needs of the dealership, creating a unified workflow that spans from the moment a customer books an appointment to the final delivery of the serviced vehicle.

Renault has launched a major update to its platform, the reference tool for spare parts identification, repair times, and technical documentation. The “New Dialogys” features a modernized interface, enhanced search functions (including VIN and criteria-based filtering), and faster loading of wiring diagrams, exploded views, and workshop manuals.

While the old Dialogys worked in isolation, the new version is deeply integrated with Renault’s diagnostic tools (CLIP and X80). Technicians can now click on a fault code in the diagnostic tool and be taken directly to the relevant wiring diagram or removal procedure in New Dialogys.
