After playing for six hours (three of which were staring at a loading screen), I’d argue it is . It’s less Hatred and more South Park . SID Gaming seems less interested in genuinely offending you and more interested in seeing how far they can push the "adult" tag on platforms like Itch.io and Patreon. The content is crude, yes, but it’s also juvenile. It’s the kind of degeneracy you laugh at with friends at 2 AM, not the kind that leaves you disturbed. Total Degeneracy Island -v0.01a- -SID Gaming-

The concept of Total Degeneracy Island was born out of a desire to create a game that defies genre classifications and embarks on an unconventional narrative journey. The developers at -v0.01a-, known for their penchant for experimenting with unique game mechanics and storytelling techniques, joined forces with SID Gaming, a company renowned for its commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in game development. The result is a game that promises to be as enigmatic as it is engaging.

One of the most compelling aspects of Total Degeneracy Island is its mysterious nature. The game does not lay out its objectives or rules clearly from the start. Instead, players are encouraged to explore, deduce, and adapt. This approach not only makes for a thrilling experience but also fosters a sense of community, as players share theories, strategies, and discoveries. I haven't seen any developer console

But I couldn’t stop playing.

Let’s be honest—version 0.01a is essentially a proof of concept. Here is what actually works: It’s less Hatred and more South Park

The gaming community is no stranger to ambitious mods and niche indie projects, but few titles carry a name as provocative and intriguing as Total Degeneracy Island -v0.01a- -SID Gaming-. Currently in its earliest alpha stages, this project has begun to circulate within specific gaming circles, promising a blend of chaotic social simulation, survival mechanics, and the unfiltered edge that SID Gaming is becoming known for.

If you follow the ultra-niche underground build scenes (the real underground, not the Steam Next Fest stuff), you’ve seen the acronym floating around. No one knows if it’s a solo dev, a collective, or an AI that learned how to code in spite. But their "v0.01a" releases are legendary for two reasons: they break your PC, and they break your brain.

Just don't say I didn't warn you.
