Battery will scan the folder, and within 30 seconds, your kits should reappear.
Before we fix it, let’s understand the enemy. Battery 4’s factory library is a large folder (usually over 4GB) containing all the preset kits, samples, and impulse responses. This error appears for three main reasons:

If the drive letter changed (e.g., you moved from D: to F:), you can force the path via Windows Registry.
If the library path remains "greyed out" and reinstalling isn't working, you can manually set the path in the Windows Registry.
Remember: Do not panic. Do not reinstall blindly. Check your drive letters, point Battery back to the folder, and you will be producing beats again in no time.
If you cannot find the Battery 4 Library folder anywhere on your computer, you likely deleted it by accident.
