The Golden Circle wants to be a buddy comedy (Eggsy & amnesiac Harry), a Western (Kingsman vs. Statesman), a political thriller (the drug war), and a musical (yes, there’s a bizarre karaoke scene where Eggsy sings “Country Roads” to trigger Harry’s memory). It’s too much, and yet—somehow—not enough.
