- Pro Evolution Soccer //top\\ — Pes 2012

PES 2012 rewards and manual control . Unlike FIFA’s arcade style, PES demands you learn spacing, teammate runs, and defensive jockeying.

The "Be a Pro" mode was solid but not revolutionary. You started as a 17-year-old with terrible stats and had to work your way up. The camera angle (fixed player) was disorienting at first, but once you mastered off-the-ball movement using the new Teammate Control (calling for the ball), it became addictive. The AI managers had specific tactical philosophies; playing under Pep Guardiola (Barcelona in-game) required short passing, whereas playing under José Mourinho (Real Madrid) required counter-attacking discipline. Visually, was a mixed bag.
